Overview

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic Calendar and the most meritorious month in the whole year. The philosophy of Ramadan is of ibadah, that muslims dedicate this month to only worshiping Allah (S.W.T.A). This is why Allah (S.W.T.A) multiplies the rewards of good actions in this month and makes it easy for us by chaining the Shaya'teen. In this month we should try our best to perform as much ibadah as we can, and completely recite the book of Allah (SWT) at least once.

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived. " (Sunan-An Nasa'i)
